DESCONFÍO MANTONEGRO 2021 RIBAS

"I am suspicious of people who don't drink." Attributed to Humphrey Bogart, this is the phrase to which Desconfío pays tribute, a wine made 95% with the Mantonegro variety and with which it is intended to silence voices that are also suspicious of the capabilities of this grape. A wine that does justice and ennobles this native variety and allows it to be enjoyed in all its uniqueness thanks to careful winemaking that includes aging for 13 months in new French oak barrels.

I distrust is a wine with character that stands out for its aromas of red fruit jam, scrub and eucalyptus, to which it adds other woody and toffee notes and a mineral touch. In the mouth it is tasty, aromatic, elegant, fruity, varietal. Very balsamic on the palate and with silky tannin that makes it palatable. A friendly wine with a long and expressive finish.
