Fragrance:
A playful scent of elderberry, cassis and creamy marzipan seduces the nose, behind it quickly emerges the complex note of wood with a subtly smoked stylization, vanilla and dark chocolate, nougat, pepper and dried figs.
Palate: A powerful, full-bodied wine, full of fruity opulence, perfectly counteracted by the acidity and fine mesh tannins, typical notes of the sour cherry variety, black olives and sour grass medley. It remains for a long time, exuberant but elegant, fruity and loaded with trembling spices, a wine full of emotion and sophistication.
Food pairing:
Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are at their best here, skillfully bringing their style and individuality to the assembly. The wine sparkles ruby red in the glass and exudes its pleasant aroma, fresh and full-bodied air on the palate and the fascinating and elegant complexity make the cuvée a versatile companion for pleasure. Tender beef steak cheek at low temperature or venison ragout, a poem in combination with lamb stilts with root vegetables, figs or roasted almonds.
