Syrah 100% Finca s Aujub Vermell
Harvest: Manual in boxes of 15 kg. First week of September 2010.
Prepared pre-fermentation cold maceration (48 h-10oC). Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature (28oC) and then aged in oak barrels (80% French) for 12 months.

Tasting note: Ruby red with brick red hues. Clean and bright. Production and ageing: 12 months in American (80%) and French (20%) oak barrels. Highly intense on the nose; distinct ageing aromas can be noted (vanilla, truffle, leather). Reminiscent of fine baking and hardwoods (cedar). Cheerful attack, almost sweet, and flavoursome, which gives way to a vinous, rounded passage through the mouth with a great acidity-alcohol balance. Scented retronasal, reminiscent of black fruit preserve, together with spicy hints. A broad, glutinous and elegant finish, with a long aftertaste that invites you to take another sip.

This wine shows the primary characters Mantonegro addition to rich mineral notes from our vineyards, salt and limestone.

Aging: 75 % of total volume for 12 months.

Variety of Barrels: 75 % French oak and 25 % American oak.

Preparation:
Manual harvest . Selection table, grain by grain , where the grape quality is controlled. Then proceed to fermentation at moderate temperatures between 25 and 27 ° C avoiding sobremacerar to extract primary aromas of red fruit Mantonegro and soft and round tannins of Cabernet , Syrah and Merlot .
